When my family and I were planning to move into Ikorodu, one of the questions family and friends asked me was if we were going to find a good school for our children. My response to them was that there are families living in Ikorodu and I believe there would be good schools there too. We moved into Ikorodu with this mindset but
Initially, looked like this dream wasn’t going to be a reality. I am grateful to God for my wonderful neighbor (Mrs. Tony-Osondu) who after spending few terms in a not so good school introduced us to MMS. I immediately fell in love with the school environment, classroom setting and the curriculum.
It was indeed a homeschool environment for our children. The teachers are dedicated to the total wellbeing of the children. The school curriculum sets children up for success everywhere they go to. MMS children excel within and outside the classroom. This is the testimony of our children as they continue to make us proud. MMS is a school that specializes in the total wellbeing of their children (notice, I didn’t say students but children because we were one big family). As a school, they understand how to nurture and bring out the best in their children both academically and in extracurricular activities.
The school proprietress and administrator is a woman of excellence who prides in her children. Despite having left the shores of Nigeria and my children now in High School and University, we still keep in touch and constantly checking on the wellbeing of her children.
I am grateful for the foundational work that MMS did in my children and would always recommend the school to family and friends who live within the Ikorodu axis seeking a good education for their children.
Being one of the pioneer parents that entrusted their wards to Marvelvine many years ago, It has been an eventful and rewarding experience. With international attuned curriculum and highly experienced management that involves in all part of educating the kids. Marvelvine was one of the best foundation investments for my kids.
While we were in Nigeria between 2011-2014, our son attended MMS (Marvelvine Montessori School), in Ibeshe, Ikorodu. We could not be more pleased and happy with our decision to send him to the school. We noticed that the academic curriculum that the school follows is absolutely superb and amazing. For instance, the instruction our son received and the teachers dedication far exceeded any expectations that we had. So, I highly recommend this school. The teachers are fantastic; class instruction is planned and true to Montessori teaching model.
Our three children attended Marvelvine Montessori School. Two are currently in Secondary School, the last will by God’s grace leave this year but I am grateful to God and the entire MMS staff for the solid foundation laid, not just academically but also morally, in extra – curricular activities and character. We will be through as pupils of Marvelvine but we are still a part of this great school.
